American Grand Cru Opens Up Allocation of Coveted Second Wine to Non Members
RdV Vineyards—an American Grand Cru located in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains—produces only two wines. Their signature wine, Lost Mountain, is an American treasure. The current vintage of the sibling wine, 2021 Rendezvous, was just released to wine club members.
Today, April 7th, a very limited amount of 2021 Rendezvous bottles became available to non members! Interested parties are encouraged to reach out via RdV's website at rdvvineyards.com/visit to inquire about purchasing a bottle (potentially two depending on availability.) The non member price is $135. These releases tend to sell out fast, and bottles are available on a first come, first serve basis. When in or around the Virginia/Washington D.C, area, guests can book a visit for tours and tastings and purchase bottles, based on availability. RdV is also participating in the James Suckling Great Wines World event, taking place in New York City on June 5th & 6th. Take this opportunity to experience RdV wines, as well as meeting the founder & owner, Rutger de Vink, and winemaker Joshua Grainer, Master of Wine.
The flagship wine, Lost Mountain, can only be purchased if you're a club member for the price of $225 per bottle. Renowned for its ability to age, Lost Mountain can easily be put away in your cellar for upwards of two to three decades. This gives you an opportunity to open the more approachable Rendezvous, which can be enjoyed for all occasions at young age.
