Angela Bassett Sparkles in Farm Rio, Doja Cat Goes Edgy in Luar Bodysuit and More Fashion Moments at ‘The Book of Clarence’ Premiere

Director Jeymes Samuel, also known as The Bullitts, hosted the premiere of “The Book of Clarence” at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Friday. The star-studded event was attended by LaKeith Stanfield, the star of the film, and other celebrity guests, including Karrueche Tran, Angela Bassett and Doja Cat.

Produced by Jay Z, “The Book of Clarence” will hit the theaters on Friday. The movie also features Teyana Taylor, Anna Diop, David Oyelowo, Micheal Ward, Alfre Woodard and Caleb McLaughlin, among others.

Amanda Gorman

American poet and activist Amanda Gorman wore head-to-toe Prada for the event. Her look was created by Jason Bolden, who also works with Nicole Kidman and Storm Reid.

Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran wore a red strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and raw finishes that juxtaposed edge with elegance. Styled by Alexus Shefts, her red dress was from Khosrov.

Doja Cat

Doja Cat donned an edgy bodysuit by Luar that featured cutouts and high slits. She completed the look with a lux leather trench coat and matching knee-high boots.

Niecy Nash

Wearing Versace, Niecy Nash brought Barbiecore to the red carpet in a pink tailored three-piece suit, including a matching corset top.
