  • Angelina Jolie brought her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt to an escape room in L.A. to celebrate her 13th birthday.

  • The actress and activist is "always coming up with fun things to do" with her children, Us Weekly recently reported.

Angelina Jolie just renewed her status as a Cool Mom™ after planning a fun celebration for her daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's 13th birthday on Monday. Sources told Just Jared (per ELLE) that the actress and her teen visited an escape room at The Basement in Los Angeles. (There aren't any public photos from the outing, but we can only imagine how awesome it must be to do an adventure mission with Lara Croft IRL.) ELLE also points out that the next-level venue includes live actors, making the experience even more exciting.

Jolie is known to be close with her six children, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt: Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 13, and twins Vivienne and Knox, both 10. Us Weekly reported last month that she's "always coming up with fun things to do" with her kids. They even accompany her at public events, like the red carpet premiere of Dumbo or a screening of The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind in New York.

It was reported in April that Jolie and Pitt are now officially single, after first filing for divorce in 2016. A source recently told Entertainment Tonight that "there's no more drama" between the former couple, and that they'll continue to prioritize their kids amidst the breakup. "All of the dust has settled," the insider added. "They are and have always been focused on what is best for the children."
