Arby's Is Giving Away Its Newest Sandwich to Those Willing to Hike for It

Arby's is pulling out all the stops for the launch of its latest burger, including a one-day-only hike to "the most remote Arby’s in the world." And those lucky fans who make the cut will have a complimentary burger waiting for them at the end of the trail.

It's a big launch for a big burger. Literally, the Big Game Burger is described as being "an elevated, innovative twist on the traditional burger" that shows off Arby’s meat expertise. The patty is a blend of venison, elk, and ground beef, topped with crispy onions, tangy pickles, melty Swiss cheese, and a dark cherry steak sauce.

Coinciding with the burger's September 12 launch, the chain will be hosting Arby’s Hike-Thru on The Big Game Burger Trail, as the new offering is an "adventurous burger that deserves to be experienced in the wild." The "one-of-a-kind, immersive adventure" will be open to few lucky fans on a first-come, first-serve basis. They'll get to participate in a guided scenic hike along an exclusive trail deep in the Colorado Rockies. At the end of the trail, participants will celebrate with a Big Game Burger.

Details about the hike, and where to get trail passes will soon be available at ArbysHikeThru.com. The company will also be selling merch including hiking socks, hats, anorak jackets, and water bottles beginning on September 12.

But you don't have to go on a hike through a remote mountain trail to sample the new burger. The Big Game Burger will be available at Arby's locations nationwide for a limited time only, so get it while supplies last.
