Arby's Spices Up the Menu With Addition of Boneless Wings

Arby's is adding two items to menus sure to be a win with fans.

On Monday, the company confirmed it would bring back boneless wings for a limited time–and just in time for fall sports season.

Each order of boneless wings features six bite-sized pieces of white meat chicken coated in crispy, seasoned breading and the customer's choice of Buffalo or Hot Honey BBQ sauce.

The Buffalo sauce used for the chicken wings is the same cayenne-based sauce Arby's slathers on its Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Buffalo Chicken Slider, so it should have that familiar flavor and "just the right kick of heat." The Hot Honey BBQ flavor reportedly offers a more complex profile of sweet, spicy and smoky made from a combination of honey, guajillo, ancho de arbol and chipotle peppers, lime puree and a natural smoke flavor.

"We’ve had such a great fan response each time boneless wings have been on our menu, and we know that Buffalo and Hot Honey BBQ are both flavors that our guests crave," Ellen Rose, CMO of Arby’s, said in a statement. "We have two popular items on the menu that already feature the Buffalo sauce – the Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich and Buffalo Chicken Slider – and we’re so excited to extend the beloved sauce to our boneless wings while simultaneously bringing the of-the-moment Hot Honey BBQ flavor back to the menu for every boneless wing lover to enjoy."

Arby's limited-time Buffalo Boneless Wings and Hot and Honey Boneless Wings are currently available at participating locations nationwide for $5 each (each order also includes a small fry).
