Ariana Grande Shows Off Her Real Hair

Ariana Grande may be famous because of her killer vocals and chart-topping songs, but her signature style has become increasingly popular over the years. With each album comes a new look for Ari: Her Dangerous Woman era brought us those iconic cat ears, while Sweetener and Thank U, Next issued in oversized sweatshirts and thigh-high boots. Perhaps the most iconic part of Ariana's style is her hair. Yes, we're talking about her legendary ponytail. But now, amidst social isolation, Ariana has said goodbye to the slicked-back look and hello to her real curls.

In a photo posted on March 30, Ariana showed off her natural hair, which is a sure deviation from her signature style that we've come to know and love. "Get a load a dis," Ariana captioned the photo of her dark real curls. The hairstyle is reminiscent of photos and videos from when Ariana was young, back in her days as a Florida teen and when she starred in 13: The Musical on Broadway. Before Victorious and her music career came about, Ariana was a curly-haired Italian girl from Boca Raton.

Ariana's mom, Joan, replied to the photo by writing, "Beyond stunning." She continued, "Your natural hair/curls is a world of its own... a magnificent beauty you are inside and out/ made up or natural ... I love you..."

Others chimed in as well: "you're right, persuade your daughter to leave them natural pliiiis," wrote one fan, while another said, "FACTS JOAN!!! u have never been MORE right!!!"

On April 7, Ari shared another look at her real curls with a short video on Instagram, though this time they looked a tiny bit different. Using a butterfly filter, Ari posed for the camera with her hair styled in a half-up, half-down pony, with a lighter streak peeking at the top. Despite the differences, fans flooded her comments with the same love. It's clear at the Arianators are here for Ari's natural look, and so are we! Ariana can truly do no wrong.
