Barack Obama and Joe Biden's friendship lives on even after their tenures at the White House. Yesterday, the former president and former vice president were spotted visiting a bakery in Washington D.C. together like a couple of regular pals.

The pair stopped by Dog Tag Bakery in Georgetown, which provides work for veterans, military spouses, and caregivers, according to the shop's official website.

"It was a pretty quick drop by, and they had lunch with us today," Dog Tag Inc.'s program director Claire Witko told local outlet WTOP. The bakery shared a video from the visit to its Facebook page.

After making their orders, they spoke to some fans in the shop and on the street.

They were greeted with cheers as soon as they stepped out of the door.

The former president has been having some fun lately. Over the weekend, he made a surprise appearance at Beyoncé and JAY-Z's On the Run II concert in Maryland, where they were spotted jamming out and dancing in their box seats.

But before that, he was doing serious business. Two weeks ago, he delivered the 2018 Nelson Mandela Annual Lecture in South Africa, where he called out "strongman politics," "politics of fear," and the "utter loss of shame among political leaders."

He also spoke at a town hall in Johannesburg and encouraged women to get involved in politics "because men have been getting on my nerves lately."
