Brie Garcia is sharing the one thing she hopes her daughter doesn't inherit from her.

The former WWE wrestler, 40, spoke with Niki Buchanan at the Female Quotient Equality Lounge at Cannes Lions on Wednesday, June 19, where she opened up about her experience as a "people pleaser," emphasizing that she doesn't want her daughter Birdie, 7, to go through what she did.

"I'm a people pleaser," Garcia admitted. "And so much growing up, I wouldn't voice my opinion because I [didn't] want to hurt people's feelings or I wanted everyone to feel good, and I don't want my daughter to do the same thing."

The Total Bellas star explained that she can already see some people pleasing qualities in Birdie, so she wants to give her daughter the advice she never received as a child.

"She's seven, but I'll still see her do certain things, and I'm like, 'You actually don't have to agree. You don't have to say hi,'" she told Buchanan. "And I wanted — I needed someone to almost tell me that when I was younger."

The mom of two revealed that it's taken her "maybe 20 years of therapy and a lot of retreats" to suppress her instincts to please others.

"But with my daughter," she explains, "I look at things that I wish, not that I wish were different, but that I had to work hard on, and I try to educate her on that."

"I also want her to be your own person. I don't want to disrupt whatever her soul and her purpose is supposed to be in this world. So I kind of just feel like I have to guide her," added Garcia.

In the first photo of her Instagram, Garcia sat next to her children at a picnic bench as they ate pizza and salad. In the next two photos, the reality TV star shared individual portrait photos of Birdie and Buddy smiling at the camera.

"Happy Easter!! 🐰✨ Happy Birthday @thevacationjj 🥳 love you so much!! For me it’s such a beautiful day to celebrate our Lord ✝️💜 Let the egg hunts begin!!! 🐣" she captioned the post.
