Earlier this week, LeBron James fired off a hot take on Twitter about his son Bronny James and his basketball abilities. The proud father claimed that Bronny is "definitely better" than some of the NBA players in the league today.

Since Bronny has shown interest in college basketball and subsequently the NBA, LeBron quickly began promoting his son and his intention to stay in the league until he can play with Bronny. Previously, ESPN predicted Bronny to be one of the top 10 pics in its mock 2024 draft. LeBron has also weighed in on his son's chances of playing at any college, stating, "I think Bronny can go to any college he wants to. All I have to do is pick up the phone. If Bronny says he wants to go there, he's good enough." However, this begs the question of whether or not Bronny is truly skilled enough, or if the appeal comes from him being a "nepo-baby."

However, following LeBron's tweet, it appears that Bronny's appeal saw him upgraded to becoming a five-star recruit and No. 9 ranked prospect nationwide in the class of 2023 by On3. While this is the case, Bronny has still been hailed as a four-star recruit with 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN. According to On3, the tweet has propelled him 18 spots from his previous No. 27 placement. It remains to be seen if Bronny can hold his own and make it to the NBA. Currently, he has not committed to a college but has recently played his final high school basketball game.

In case you missed it, the police are not charging Ja Morant for the gun video, but he remains suspended for a few more games.
