Buckingham Palace Just Shut Down Rumors About the Feud Between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton
The royal family would like everyone to know that Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton get along fine, thankyouverymuch. Speculation about a feud between the duchesses was sparked by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's future move out of Kensington Palace to Frogmore Cottage, and since then rumors about animosity between them have just gotten more and more extreme.
British tabloid The Sun released a story earlier today that claimed that Meghan and Kate got into an "explosive row" after Meghan purportedly went bridezilla before her wedding and berated a member of Kate's staff. The story then claims that Kate was furious with Meghan and told her not to berate members of her team.
And even though reps for the royals have stayed mum over stories that there is tension between Meghan and Kate, apparently this particular piece of fiction was just much too much, and they stepped in. According to the Mirror, Buckingham Palace was forced to deny claims that this fight ever happened.
Kate herself also shut down rumors of a feud between her and Meghan earlier this week when she gushed about Harry and Meghan's future baby and said how excited she was for Megs.
So basically, while it's possible that Kate and Meghan have their differences (and literally how could they not, they are two different people from different parts of the world), they are also grown ass women and get along just fine. Ummtay?
