Calhoun Community College provides summer activities for youth

DECATUR, Ala. (WHNT) – Calhoun Community College released its 2024 summer camps schedule for people ranging from elementary school age to young adults.

Activities available at the camps will include cybersecurity, machining, technology and its ‘Explore U’ camp that introduces campers to potential career opportunities around the Tennessee Valley.

This year, Calhoun offers athletic camps for all ages in volleyball, softball and basketball. The arts camps will be held in downtown Decatur at the Alabama Center for the Arts Facility.

Campers will gain exposure to an arts college environment while learning various art forms, including acting, with the chance to perform in a live theatre program.
