Cardi B Says She Didn't Diss Ariana Grande on Instagram

It was apparently Photoshopped.

Some people are so desperate for drama between pop stars that they’re willing to manufacture it themselves. That seems to be what happened over the weekend, when Cardi B was accused of liking an Instagram post that criticized Ariana Grande’s dating history.

According to Cosmopolitan, the post in question reportedly came from a Nicki Minaj fan page. But Cardi wasn’t having it and took to Twitter to deny ever liking the post. "Ya gotta do better with the photoshopping the 'Y' is a little cut off in the corner," Cardi tweeted. "You kids need to find a hobby, LEAVE ME ALONE."

For those of you keeping track, Nicki and Cardi have been embroiled in a feud that allegedly began in September. What this looks like is a pretty misguided attempt by one of Nicki’s fans to make Cardi look bad by actively rooting for Ariana’s relationships to fail. (Ariana and Nicki are also good friends and frequent music collaborators.)

Cardi and Nicki’s feud first escalated after Cardi accused Nicki of criticizing her parenting skills, which Nicki was quick to deny. "I just want people to know that Onika Tanya Maraj has never, will never... speak ill on anyone’s child. I am not a clown. That’s clown sh*t," she reportedly said.

Cardi also addressed the altercation via a note on Instagram. “I've let a lot of sh*t slide," she wrote. "I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me, I let you attempt to stop my bags, f*ck up the way I eat." She added: "When you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f*ckin off."
