Cat with Gang Tattoos Who Was Rescued From Mexico Prison Is Up for Adoption

The Sphinx cat finally needs some love.

A Sphinx cat that was recently rescued from a prison in Mexico has gained worldwide attention. As it turns out, this cat received two tattoos while he was in the prison. Ugh, why in the world would anyone want to do that to a cat is beyond us. All we know is that we're so thankful this cat was rescued.

TikTok user @c4news posted a clip about this incident and what will happen to the future of this cat. The video received over 2.5 million views. And because there is so much interest in this cat, you'll be surprised to find out what the government will be doing.

Wow, we're so, SO glad this cat has been rescued and will soon be adopted. He deserves nothing more than a loving home for the rest of his days.

"Can’t imagine how much that hurt the poor little thing," wrote @mxisixo. Right?! If we wince when we get tattoos, then that cat was probably in so much pain. Ugh, poor baby. We don't know how this idea even could cross someone's mind. @yomanimripped added, "That’s actually so sad, imagine people just restraining him like that and causing him so much pain." Ugh, we don't even want to think about it.

Another TikTok user, @blakejohnsonmua, said, "I want this cat." You definitely aren't the only ones. There is so much interest in this cat that a special government council will be selecting the cat's new home. What?! We've never ever heard of that before, but it is definitely in the best interest to make sure this cat gets to a loving home.
