Cat Going On a Run With Mom Is More Athletic Than Most People

You couldn't pay us enough money in the world to get us running. It's our least favorite way to exercise. That's why we feel like we resonate with cats more than dogs because while they'll get small bursts of energy here and there, they're not typically ones to be running around 24/7. But this one cat known on TikTok as @imtigerjojo begs to differ.

Tiger JoJo the orange cat loves to exercise. In fact, he looks like an expert when it comes to jogging as he's wearing the right glasses and harness. Just wait until you see how fast he is too. He's more athletic than most people!

What?! The longest we've ever seen our cat run was probably for two minutes and that's even pushing it. Typically it's just a short burst of the zoomies, followed by laying on their back and attempting to catch their cat toys. That's why seeing this orange cat run for as long as he did is so impressive. Heck, he can run longer than we can. Maybe if we had a cutie like Tiger JoJo leading the run then we'd actually get up off the couch. LOL!

Now, we're not saying your cat has to be running like Tiger JoJo, but getting your cat the proper amount of exercise is so important to avoid obesity. Obesity is a common health problem in cats that can lead to diabetes, heart disease, joint problems, and even a shortened lifespan.

You can prevent cat obesity by providing your feline friend with a healthy diet and regular exercise. There are plenty of toys and activities that encourage cats to be active. And if you do start to notice your cat gaining eight, consult a veterinarian. Together with a vet, you'll be able to create a plan that works for your cat.
