Check out the musical schedule for Shreveport's Highland Jazz & Blues Festival

The 19th annual Highland Jazz & Blues Festival will return to Columbia Park in the historic Highland neighborhood on Saturday, Sept. 16 with music and fun for all ages.

The Highland Jazz & Blues Festival launched in 2003 and has grown from featuring a handful of bands and a crowd of 500 - 1,000 to now having two stages, nine bands, art vendors and 10,000 fans in the crowd.

This event is a gift to the community from the Highland Area Partnership and proceeds from the poster, t-shirt and beverage sales along with donations and sponsorships are used to bring the festival back every year.

This year's music lineup features musicians from the community and beyond including local favorite and Grammy nominated vocalist and guitarist Buddy Flett, J and The Causeways, the Shreveport Regional Jazz Ensemble and many more.
