For her appearance on the morning show, Brinkley opted for a navy button-up shirtdress from her own label, pairing it with neon patent leather slingbacks and a woven tote.

“I think it’s when your outfit looks just as good with a pair of tennis shoes or espadrilles or bare feet,” Brinkley explained. “It’s got that kind of casual softness to it. Comfort is very important.”

The 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl showed off some of her favorite TwrHll outfit combos with the help of several models, who strutted down the “Today” show’s makeshift catwalk.

Earlier on the program, Brinkley, who recently turned 70, discussed aging in the spotlight. “There’s nothing to fear, it really is an amazing time,” she said. “You kind of don’t really care what other people think about you. You just have fun.”

Brinkley also opened up about her struggle with self-confidence after first appearing in Sports Illustrated in the 1970s.

“I did not want to be in a bathing suit in front of people, because they perfect you,” Brinkley said. “Real life is real life, and I feel like I had to live up to people’s expectations. That’s something that goes by the wayside when you turn 70.”

Throughout her legendary career in modeling, Brinkley has appeared on more than 500 magazine covers. She landed her first SI Swimsuit cover in 1979.
