Colorado Springs Bike to Work Day 2024: Here’s what you need to know
(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Colorado Springs Bike to Work Day 2024 is happening on Wednesday, June 26 from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., and there are several spots across town where riders can enjoy free breakfast and other treats on the trail system or at local businesses.
On the City of Colorado Springs website, there is a map of locations across the city where breakfast will be served on a first-come, first-served basis to those participating in Bike to Work Day.
June is Bike Month in Colorado Springs, and in addition to Bike to Work Day, several bike clinics are being offered throughout the city and can be found at the link above.
“Bike month is a great time to celebrate our cycling infrastructure, our robust trail network and the connectivity it provides in the City of Colorado Springs,” said Theresa Randall, City Planner. “We are grateful for the local businesses supporting Bike to Work Day and we invite all residents to participate in the activities this month.”
According to the Downtown Partnership, riders can also use the code ‘BTWD24’ to rent a PikeRide e-bike for two free 20-minute trips during Bike to Work Day or any time throughout the month of June.
