Finnish Juhannus — Midsummer, 1-4 p.m., Sampo Beach on Little Grand Lake, 7095 Saginaw Road, Saginaw. Live Finnish music, sauna, swimming, traditional and contemporary Finnish activities and games such as mölkky (wooden pin toss game), vihta/vasta (a sauna whisk made out of birch branches) making, and tables of Finnish and Finnish American treasures. Coffee, pulla (Finnish cardamom bread) and sima will be available, as well as a grill trailer. Family-friendly, alcohol-free, open to public. Hosted by Finlandia Foundation Northland.
