Confession: I write about kitchen products for a living, and nearly all of my dishes come from good ol' Target

Target has gorgeous plates starting at just $3, so why not give your tableware a refresh for spring 2024?

Spring might not be for a few more weeks, but these cheery dishes have me going, "Winter who?" (Target)

As someone whose job is to test and write about kitchen products, I have pretty high standards when it comes to anything related to cooking and serving food. But, can I let you in on a little secret? Open my cabinets, and you'll find that the vast majority of the dishes in them are from none other than Target. Yes, really! The Target Spring kitchen collection has an impressive selection of dinner plates that look like they came straight out of a luxury home goods store, but start at a mere $3 a pop.

If you could use some new tableware for Easter brunch or simply want to refresh your collection ahead of spring, here are the Target plates I've currently got my eye on:

If you're in the market for some all-purpose white plates, look no further than this highly rated beauty. It's just as suitable for dinner parties as it is for everyday meals.

Sturdy stoneware for just $3? I'll take a whole set, thank you! Not only does it come in this pretty blue, you can also get it in gray, white or navy.

I personally love this minimalist style, as it provides more surface area for food and has a cool, modern look. I've had a set of similar plates for years, and when it's time to replace those, these will be coming home with me.

Spring has sprung! At least, this charming floral dish makes it seem that way. It's made of BPA-free bamboo and melamine, meaning you won't have to worry about it breaking if it accidentally slips off the counter.

The lovely beaded trim detail helps elevate this otherwise traditional white plate, making meals feel just a bit more special. This is also the largest plate on this list, and you know what that means — more food!

There's something so sleek about a black plate, and this earthenware stunner looks far more high-end than its $6 price tag would imply. The slightly uneven rim gives it a handmade appearance that would be right at home in a designer showroom. (No one has to know it's a Target kitchen find!)

Want to gussy up the table? This embossed plate only looks fancy, thanks to its whimsical floral pattern. It's made of 80% pre-consumer recycled glass using durable, triple-layer glass technology.

Last, but certainly not least, this elegant-yet-playful scalloped plate will give your dining room some spring garden flair. It also comes in pink — at this price, snag a few of each.
