Cooling off with dinosaurs at Camelbeach

TANNERSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The sun rises over the mountains at Camelback Resort Friday, but this time of year, the snow has been traded in for sand.

That twist is taking us back in time, bringing in more than 40 life-size dinosaurs scattered across the water park.

It’s called ‘Dino Beach’ giving guests the opportunity to learn fun facts about different kinds of dinosaurs.

The process of moving in the attractions is still underway, but changes are already showing on the menu, like these dino nuggets and massive carnivore platter.

The heat wave hitting our area came just in time for the resort’s first week open – the hot temperatures drawing in thousands of guests.

‘Dino Beach’ will officially debut at camelbeach on thursday, June 27th.
