As you scroll through your social media feed, among the calls to action from the individuals and organizations you follow, you’ll also see announcements from brands you love: messages of solidarity along with pledges to donate to civil rights and social justice groups.

If a company’s response to the current movement to raise awareness and bring an end to racism influences where your own dollars go, keep the following brands on your radar. Each of these corporations, from Amazon and Airbnb to Lululemon and Levi’s, has announced large monetary donations to groups ranging from Black Lives Matter and the NAACP to Color for Change and the Minnesota Freedom Fund.

Keep checking back for updates on brands that are putting their money where their mouth is.

Companies including Sephora, Shobop, and Whole Foods have taken the 15 Percent Pledge, dedicating 15 percent of its shelf space to Black-owned brands. The three stages of the pledge include taking stock of current inventory, taking ownership of blind spots, and taking action to be inclusive of Black businesses.

Amazon has donated $10 million to many social justice organizations: the ACLU Foundation, Brennan Center for Justice, Equal Justice Initiative, Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, the NAACP, National Bar Association, National Museum of African American History and Culture, National Urban League, Thurgood Marshall College Fund, United Negro College Fund, and Year Up.

Etsy is donating $500,000 to the Equal Justice Initiative and $500,000 to Borealis Philanthropy’s Black-Led Movement Fund, a movement of young, black, queer, trans, feminist, immigrant, and undocumented leaders.

H&M Group (owners of Gap and Cos) is donating $500,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, the ACLU, and Color Of Change, a major social justice group in the black community.

Disney donated $2 million to the NAACP and has pledged $5 million in total to support social justice organizations.

Sephora has donated more than $1 million across National CARES Mentoring, The Center for Urban Families, NAACP ACT-SO, The National Black Justice Coalition, and Black Women’s Roundtable. Sephora will also let you use your points in the Insider Rewards Program to the National Black Justice Coalition (NBJC), a civil-rights organization dedicated to the empowerment of Black members of the LGBTQ+ community.

The Home Depot has donated $1 million to the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law “in support of its vital work to secure civil rights and equal justice for all.”

Lululemon is donating $100,000 to the Minnesota Freedom Fund, a nonprofit that pays bail for low-income individuals.

Kiehl’s has donated $50,000 to the NAACP.

Glossier is donating $500,000 across Black Lives Matter, The NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, The Equal Justice Initiative, The Marsha P. Johnson Institute, and We The Protesters.

Lyft is providing $500,000 in ride credit to national civil rights organizations including the NAACP, National Action Network, National Urban League, Black Women’s Roundtable, and the National Bail Fund Network.

Lego is donating $4 million to organizations dedicated to supporting black children and educating all children about racial equality.

Savage x Fenty, founded by Rihanna, is donating an undisclosed amount across Black Lives Matter Greater NY and The Bail Project.

Levi’s donated $100,000 to the ACLU (the two brands have a history of partnership) as well as $100,000 to Live Free USA, an organization that addresses gun violence and mass incarceration.

Banana Republic donated $250,000 to the NAACP and EmbraceRace, an organization dedicated to educating children about racial injustice and empowering children of color.

Fabletics is donating $50,000 to the ACLU.

Sunday Riley, the beauty brand, is donating $50,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and other grassroots organizations in Houston.

Airbnb is donating $500,000 to the NAACP and Black Lives Matter.

DevaCurl is donating $50,000 to Black Lives Matter.

Aritzia is donating $100,000 to Black Lives Matter and the NAACP.

Alo Yoga is donating proceeds from last weekend’s sales to Black Visions Collective and Campaign Zero in solidarity with the families of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery.

Deciem, the beauty brand, is donating $100,000 across Black Lives Matter and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Bliss donated $40,000 to the Antiracist Research & Policy Center.

Honest Beauty is donating $100,000 to organizations fighting racial injustice, including the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and the Equal Justice Initiative.

E.l.f. Cosmetics is donating $25,000 to Color Of Change.

Billie is donating $100,000 to Black Lives Matter and the NAACP.

Shea Moisture has announced the Shea Moisture Fund, its social justice coalition, and invested $100,000 "for activists working for social change."
