Are Cory & America Still Together After Big Brother? They Already Have Holiday Plans

Now that the winner is finally declared at the end of the season, many Big Brother fans might be wondering if Cory and America are still together.

The name of the series, which is based on the original Dutch reality TV show of the same name, is inspired by the character Big Brother George Orwell’s 1949 book, Nineteen Eighty-Four. Unlike other reality TV shows, housemates on Big Brother are continually monitored throughout their time in the house by live television cameras and personal audio microphones. Viewers at home can watch the contestants 24/7 via the Big Brother live feeds, which show what’s happening in the house days before they air on TV, which means everything they say is captured.

Fans who caught up with Big Brother 25 well know that Cory and America were one of the show’s most wholesome romances on the show. From friends to lovers, the two were monitored every moment from late-night talks to kissing lessons and strategizing. Cory got eliminated in week 11 while America didn’t last too long after him.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly ahead of the season finale, Cory said the best thing about being on the Jury was the privacy. “For me, it’s definitely the no cameras. I mean, I’m a person who really appreciates my privacy and wants to have time alone. And in the Big Brother house, even when you do have time alone, that time alone is shared with the thousands watching live feeds from the cameras. So not having that, I feel like I can finally take a breath, and I just can’t overstate how amazing that’s been.”

In a confessional aired before the finale, Cory poured out his feelings to his new girlfriend. “America, we have spent three months together in this house but it feels like it’s been years. And it still hasn’t been enough. It’s been the privilege of my life to be able to share this opportunity with someone I care about so much.”

Are Cory and America still together after Big Brother? Yes, and they have so many plans together after they leave the jury house!

America talked to Entertainment Weekly about how she plans to live life with Cory outside of Big Brother. I know Cory and I will continue our relationship. I really went into this thinking like, “Okay, yeah, I’m going to get into a showmance, but I’m going to play. I’m going to play them. I don’t care about boys. I’m not here for a relationship. Showmance? Sure. But anything beyond that, anything serious? No way.”

She continued, “Here I am with a whole-ass boyfriend at the end of it. I am so excited to see what happens after this. I am going to visit his family for the holidays. He’s going to come visit mine. I’m so excited to spend time in the jury house with him. It’s so stressful in the BB house. This will be a time for us to relax, treat it like a little vacation. I think it’s going to be great. I’m stoked. I’m excited.”

Though she didn’t want to leave the house just yet, she said that she wanted to be with Cory and missed him when he was eliminated. “I’ve been like, ‘Oh, it sucks here without Cory. I hate this house!’ But at the same time, I did not want to leave. I wanted to keep playing. I wanted to wake up to those fluorescent-ass lights for another week, and I wanted to play in these goofy-ass competitions again. I wasn’t ready to have that end. It was tough.”

Cory also planned to formally introduce his family to America at the family. “I think they’ll be at the finale and so will America,” he told Entertainment Weekly. “So there’s gonna be a lot of cold water in my face when I’m like, “Hey, Mom and Dad, this is America. I love her.” Like, it’s gonna be very awkward.”

He continued, “The thing is, they’ve already kind of met her though because they’ve been watching her for months, so it’s kind of a unique experience. I’m much more nervous about meeting America’s parents than I am about her meeting mine. Mine are easy. They’ve already had a kid on reality TV. There’s not gonna be that much whiplash for them.
