Dakota Johnson made an appearance at Sundance Film Festival on Thursday night, showing up at the A Taste of Sundance dinner to present director Luca Guadagnino with the International Icon Award. And first of all, she arrived at the event channeling Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake in denim-on-denim (on even more denim), wearing a bustier by Magda Butrym with oversized jeans and a blazer.
Also important? Dakota made an Armie Hammer joke while presenting the award, which had the audience on the floor.

“It was unfortunate, Luca had asked me to play the role of the peach, but our schedules conflicted," she joked. "Thank God, though, because then I would have been another woman that Armie Hammer tried to eat. It's been five years since that film premiered here and Luca hasn't stop taking us to exciting places. Who knew cannibalism was so popular?"

I'll give you a moment to watch / rewatch, but just FYI that Dakota was also asked about Madame Web last night and revealed that filming is officially done. "It was a wild experience, it was something...I don't think you can be prepped to go into anything like that, but I learned so much," she told Variety. "It's a completely different way of making films. And then I went into making one of my company's own tiny tiny movies right after, so I got a real taste of different kinds of cinema last year."
