Since March, Arnold Schwarzenegger has been keeping us posted on his weight loss goals and personal news through his newsletter. He also shares advice, and answers fans' burning questions about his decades-long career. In the newest edition, Schwarzenegger announced more details about Triplets, the sequel to the 1988 film Twins (which will feature new costar Eddie Murphy), and shared a story about his co-star Danny Devito.

On the set of Twins, Devito loved to mess with Schwarzenegger during filming. "He's a brutal prankster, and he's as funny in real life as he is on the screen," Schwarzenegger says.

For lunch breaks, Devito would make pasta for the two of them and they'd smoke cigars together before returning to work. One day, Devito put marijuana in Schwarzenegger's cigar without telling him. Despite knowing his lines by heart, Schwarzenegger's mind went blank when the cameras resumed rolling.

"I’m a fanatic about memorizing my lines so I never touch the script once I arrive on a set, but when we got back after lunch, Danny said his line and I just stood there. 'Duh,'" Schwarzenegger says.

To save time, director Ivan Reitman filmed close-ups of Devito, who "was laughing up a storm," so Schwarzenegger could read his lines off the page. After a while, it all came back to him. He says it could have gone worse if they had another director.

"We were lucky this was on Ivan’s movie because if this ever happened on a Jim Cameron film," Schwarzenegger says, "we would have been in real trouble."

Back in the 70's and 80's, Schwarzenegger wasn't a stranger to smoking pot. Earlier this year, he revealed he used to get stoned and work out with comedian Tommy Chong. But once he got serious about his acting and bodybuilding—around 1975—he gave it up. Sounds like Devito helped him get high one more time, even though it wasn't quite planned.
