Dog's Gentle Reaction to Meeting Newborn Baby Has People in Tears
Few things can top the moment new parents meet their baby for the very first time, but several can certainly come close. Just take a look at this heartwarming video of Cooper the cockapoo meeting his human sister Winnie the day she came home from the hospital! We knew it would be cute before we even saw the clip, but the real moment brought tears to our eyes.
The video was posted by new mom @hannahmellsop, though viewers from all walks of life are appreciating the priceless moment. The pup's gentle reaction couldn't be sweeter!

Aww--how adorable is this? This cockapoo couldn't possibly be more well-behaved, aside from jumping across the couch! In all seriousness, though--Cooper has already shown that he's going to be a gentle, loving, and loyal big brother. No wonder Mom and Dad are beaming!
"The way he waited to be introduced" to the baby was @laurax's favorite detail of the video, and we can't help but agree. He's such a good boy! He sat so patiently by the door as his dad let him in, and even when he noticed the baby, he stayed completely cool and collected.
"Aww. He was so pleased to see his mummy, that he didn’t notice the bubba at first," noticed @drgaons. "Heartwarming vid." Isn't it? We can tell just how much Cooper loves his mama from this reaction alone, and it's not at all surprising when we consider his loving breed.
Poodle mixes like cockapoos are very people-oriented, so it's easy to see how he's so attached to Mom. Hopefully, he won't mind that his new little sister will be rather attached, too!
