Dogs in Italy Have Their Own Shopping Carts and It's Even Better Than It Sounds

When you go to pick up groceries in America and you have your dog with, chances are you have to leave them tied up outside unless they are a service dog. Well, grocery stores in Italy decided to cater to dog owners and their fur babies by creating specialized shopping carts where dogs can shop alongside their humans.

Watch the following video posted on September 29  to see a dog named Boomer experience this firsthand.

The video, posted by the TikTok account for @Boomer_the_landcloud, shows beautiful Boomer getting really interested in the fresh meat aisle. It does look so fun to be able to shop with your dog, and we all know that if a store doesn't allow dogs that you should never leave them alone in a car, but I can also see why a lot of people don't want to buy food with dogs present.

A lot of people have allergies, are afraid of dogs, or their kids are afraid, worried that dogs may have germs that could infiltrate their groceries. Dogs carry germs from feces, urine and drool on their fur and paws and that could prove unappealing to a lot of people.

Plus, there are people who absolutely need service dogs with them to help them perform tasks like shopping and if random, untrained dogs in stores are interrupting or disturbing service dogs than these amazing dogs won't be able to do their jobs.

I love dogs, I love seeing dogs, I love meeting dogs, but I just don't feel the need to do so in a grocery store. Even though these Italian shopping carts are pretty cool.
