BRAVE stood as the inaugural creation in the Camille Series from Master Sommelier, Emily Wines. Initially launched in 2019, the bottle is back due to popular demand as of today February 1, for customers to enjoy by the glass or bottle at all Cooper’s Hawk restaurants across the country and as a part of their Cooper’s Hawk wine subscription. The red blend comes from Paso Robles, California and is comprised of Zinfandel, Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Petite Sirah. On the palate the wine has a pleasant foundation of jammy fruit, pepper notes, and a hint of sweetness with a delightful blend of floral, herbal, and spice elements.

"The Cooper’s Hawk Camille Series is extremely personal to me, as I created these wines to celebrate bold, courageous women who innovate and advance positive change," says Emily Wines, Master Sommelier, Vice President of Wine and Beverage Experiences, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants. "BRAVE was the first wine we released from this series, and we’re thrilled to bring it back. This bold blend, made of mostly Zinfandel along with Mourvèdre, Syrah, and Petite Sirah, celebrates those with the courage to stand for others in the face of trouble and challenge.

Emily Wines brings an infectious vibrancy to the subject of wine. While she has earned the highest distinction from the prestigious Court of Master Sommeliers, Emily is one of only 172 individuals in the Americas to earn the designation of Master Sommelier. She is one of 14 professionals worldwide awarded the prestigious Remi Krug Cup for passing all three sections—theory, service and blind tasting—of the Master Sommelier Diploma Examination on her first attempt, where most candidates sit for the exam two to three times, and some take it as many as six times. Emily is able to blend her vast knowledge of wine with an approachable personal style—translating the complex and often elitist world of wine into language that’s simple and straightforward.
