We’re only a week into June, and the calendar is already stacked with even more food holidays on the horizon. But the truth is that besides being fun, these special days are a great opportunity for retailers to bring attention to their products and for customers to snag some of the best deals.

This Friday, we are celebrating one of the most fluffy, delicious, and glazed treats around—the donut! National Donut Day falls on Friday, June 7, and the deals are plentiful. Krispy Kreme is offering free donuts and discounted dozens. And now another popular donut chain is joining the party.

How to Get a Free Donut From Dunkin’

To celebrate National Donut Day, you can grab a free classic donut from Dunkin’ Donuts. The deal is on at locations nationwide so head to your nearest store to score the free treat. There is one catch–you’ll need to make a beverage purchase to claim your donut. It’s the perfect excuse to grab a cup of your favorite tea, iced coffee, or a new fruit-flavored refresher from Dunkin's summer menu.

I can tell you from personal experience that if you wait until the evening, there’s a good chance it will be hard to find a donut anywhere on National Donut Day. This deal is only on while supplies last, so stop in early to get your free donut before they’re gone.

But don’t worry if you don’t make it in time. You can always whip up a custom batch of cake donuts, yeast donuts, or two-ingredient air fryer donuts at home to celebrate.
