Enjoy Breakfast with the Bears at CALM on July 7

If you're not a morning person, you may wake up feeling like a bear coming out of hibernation. On July 7, embrace your ursine inclinations when Breakfast with the Bears returns to California Living Museum.

This is the second year for the fundraiser that allows zoo guests an morning experience with CALM's beloved resident bears, Cinnamon and Louie.

Guests will be able to enjoy coffee, juice and breakfast snacks at the bear enclosure at 8 a.m. Meanwhile, Cinnamon and Louie will enjoy treats and enrichment items starting at 8:30 a.m.

The event is included with the purchase of normal admission, which is $10 for adults, $7 seniors (60 and older) and $6 children (ages 3-12). Children 2 and under, along with CALM members and service members and veterans receive free admission and breakfast snacks.

Funds from this campaign will go toward building a brand-new viewing platform at the bears' habitat that will allow guests a better vantage point to watch the animals.

Along with the event, CALM's other fundraising efforts include offering an exclusive T-shirt for the campaign. Visit bonfire.com/bwtb2024 to view the different shirt options, which range from $23.99 for children to $35.99 for an Allmade Eco Triblend women's scoop-neck T-shirt.

You can also enter for a chance to purchase a behind the scenes experience with the bears.

The person who is selected (and then pays $500) will be able to visit with up to three guests and meet the bears behind the scenes and take part in creating a special animal presentation with CALM's animal keepers.

Fill out the form at forms.gle/xx8CNczsG97NCEKS6 for your chance to be selected for the experience.
