Don’t get us wrong, we love shopping at Sam’s Club all year long, but there’s nothing quite like hitting the club store during the summer. When you’re hosting backyard barbecues, heading on long vacation road trips, and attending potluck after potluck, you need a place that can keep you stocked for weeks on end.

That’s the beauty of a club store like Sam’s, which offers extra-large packages of condiments, deals on grilling meats, and, of course, snacks and treats that can feed a crowd.

Those bulk containers of mini Reese’s cups and value packs of Hershey’s bars will keep s’mores fun for so many summer nights. The individual packs of Cheez-Its and Chex Mix have pool snacks covered. And the big bags of Lay’s potato chips and Dot’s Pretzels complete your summer barbecue.

If you, like us, enjoy throwing an extra bag of chips in your shopping cart after you spot a new flavor on shelves, then you’re going to be as excited as we are. That's because Sam’s Club is bringing back a fan-favorite Lay’s flavor for a limited time this summer.

Lay's Cheesy Garlic Bread Chips Are Back at Sam's Club

The Cheesy Garlic Bread Lay’s, which customers say are so good they “can’t stop eating” them, are back exclusively at Sam’s Club stores.

The flavor, which has hints of creamy cheese and savory garlic, won Lay’s “Do Us a Flavor” contest in 2013. They were only in stores for a limited time before an eight-year hiatus, which ended in 2021 when they became a Sam’s Club exclusive.

Now, the limited-edition potato chips make a welcomed return yearly in the summer months. This year, they’re set to return to clubs nationwide on June 26, but some lucky customers may spot them early. The cheesy chips are only available for a limited time, despite the fan love.

“At first, I was on the fence about these chips, but when I ran out, I started to crave them, so, I ordered more because they're a limited-time flavor. Now I'm well-stocked and am dreading running out because they are extremely tasty,” one reviewer wrote.

Dread no longer because the $4.48 bags are headed back to clubs now. Just be sure to stay well-stocked for when they inevitably disappear again.
