Facialist Nichola Joss Reveals Priyanka Chopra's Favorite Face Mask for Glowing Skin

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas got married at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in India today, People reports. Although photos of the first ceremony — Saturday's was Christian wedding and Sunday's will be a traditional Indian ceremony — have yet to be revealed, there's no doubt that Chopra will somehow look even more radiant than she usually does. And that may be thanks in part to using one of her favorite pre-wedding masks.

Chopra's go-to facialist, Nichola Joss, recently told Refinery29 the advice she gives brides for perfecting their skin before their wedding, from professional peels and laser treatments a few months in advance to regular hydrating treatments in the month leading up to the big day. She also revealed that, before Chopra attended the royal wedding in May, she applied a one-minute "flash mask" to the actor's face.

"The morning before Meghan and Harry's wedding, I used Decléor Instant Firming & Lifting Mask on Priyanka, and it gave her skin this unbelievable lift and glow," Joss told Refinery29 of the treatent, which contains iris essential oil and promises more defined facial contours. "I recommend it to every single bride," she adds, dropping a pretty big hint that Chopra — who shared photos of her mehendi ceremony on Instagram — likely used it before her own wedding this weekend.

Joss says Chopra doesn't always rely on spa and store-bought masks to get glowing. She also tells Refinery29 that the newlywed loves mixing up skin treatments in her own kitchen. "Priyanka loves a DIY face mask," she says, noting that turmeric is one her favorite ingredients because of its calming and congestion-fighting properties. "It’s about being in control of the ingredients you’re putting on your skin, and Priyanka specifically loves to make her skin-care routine as Ayurvedic as possible."

It sounds like a perfect option before the second, traditional Indian ceremony that will be happening on Sunday, especially if she's doing a fair amount of celebrating after today's first ceremony.
