Fans React To Kim Kardashian's Before And After Photos And Debate Whether She Got 'Butt Implants' Or 'Injections'

For what feels like forever, fans have been speculating about whether Kim Kardashian underwent specific plastic surgery procedures in recent years.

Recently, Life & Style Magazine shared a side-by-side comparison of two photographs of her on Instagram, which has led many to believe that she may have received butt implants or injections, with some commenters citing this as evidence.

Beneath the October 6th post, many began debating whether differences in Kardashian’s appearance over the years were due to implants or injections. One user commented, regarding Kardashian, 42, and her famous sisters: “I worked as a plastic surgery nurse for decades. I don’t think they have implants, but I absolutely believe they’ve had something injected.”

Another added: “Her and khloe got the same butt implants. U can see in the show when it changes lol and it’s literally square and u can see the implant when they wear certain things.” The fan went on: “I still love them. But like stop lying to us please lol.”

What Kim Kardashian Has Said About ‘Butt Implants’—And Confessing To Injections

While Kardashian has denied rumors and claims from fans regarding butt implants, she did memorably open up about —and confess to getting—injections in an August 2016 livestream video on her official app. She clarified that the sole purpose of the injections she received was to alleviate her psoriasis symptoms.

“I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt,” she said, while recalling her first appointment. “I lived right behind Kitson [a since-closed boutique in Los Angeles by Cedars-Sinai Hospital]. One of my neighbors was a dermatologist at Cedars. I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’ Of course, I get a huge indent on my butt.”

The SKIMS founder went on to say that she attributed the incessant rumors about her butt implants to the dent in her bottom, which she believed served as the catalyst.

"There is a picture of me in Miami wearing an electric blue dress, and another picture of me walking down Robertson [Boulevard]," she added. "You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumors started: ‘She’s had implants.'"

The reality star also silenced butt implant rumors on Twitter in February 2014, just months after the birth of her daughter North (whom she shares with ex Kanye West). "I’m seeing all these nonsense tabloids claiming I have butt implants-injections," she wrote.

She continued: "Get a life! Using pics of me 15 pounds skinnier (before I had my baby) comparing to me now! I still have weight to lose," she tweeted at the time. "Anyone who has had a baby knows how hard it is to lose weight (especially the last bit of weight) & your body totally changes!"

The mom of four (who since welcomed son Saint, daughter Chicago and son Psalm) added, "Making fun of me pregnant & making fun of me trying to lose weight now — shame on you. I’m not perfect but I will never conform to your skinny standards sorry! Not me. And BTW I’ve lost a lot so far & I’m proud of that! Don’t give young girls a complex!"  

Another memorable moment in which Kardashian tried to shut down butt implant rumors was during a Keeping Up With The Kardashians episode in 2011. The SKKN mogul got her backside x-rayed, and her sister Khloé tweeted soon after the scene aired on television: "See, it’s REAL!!!"

Overall, although Kardashian staunchly denies ever having received butt implants, it appears that some of her social media followers will always remain convinced that she did undergo the procedure.
