Get a free donut at Dunkin’ this Friday for National Donut Day

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Friday is National Donut Day and Dunkin’ customers can celebrate with a free donut.

To get a free donut, all you need to do is purchase a beverage.

Can you guess how many Dunkin’ locations there are in Massachusetts?

“No one loves donuts and coffee more than Dunkin’ and our amazing customers,” said Beth Turenne, VP of Category Management at Dunkin’. “National Donut Day is a special day for us because it’s all about celebrating that love and obsession. Plus, we get to share that joy by giving away millions of free donuts.”

Dunkin’ sells more than two billion donuts and Munchkins each year. The chain first opened in Quincy, Massachusetts in 1950 and has expanded over the years to more than 13,200 locations across 40 countries. There are more than 3,100 locations in Massachusetts alone.

Dunkin’ is also partnering with country music star Jelly Roll for National Donut Day through social media and will also be selling donut-themed clothing on its website this Friday.
