Free outdoor yoga classes return to Bryant Park this summer
MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Whether you’re an experienced yogi or new to yoga, everyone is welcome to join the free outdoor yoga classes at Bryant Park!
The free summer yoga series presented by CALIA kicks off at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 29 with instructor Brooke Easton of Lyons Den Power Yoga.
Sky-high yoga returns to The Edge
Yogis can join Easton, who has over 14 years of experience teaching Baptiste Power Vinyasa, at the Bryant Park Upper Terrace at 42nd Street and Sixth Avenue.
Classes occur twice a week on Tuesday mornings at 10 a.m. at the Upper Terrace and Wednesday evenings on the Lawn at 6 p.m. through September 25. Each class runs an hour.
While the classes are free, registration is required. Upon arrival, show your QR code from your registration confirmation email to the Bryant Park check-in staff who will be located at the four corners of the lawn. Check-in locations are marked with pink barricades or a pink tent.
Attendees need to bring their own yoga mats and mats are not provided.

At each session we hope to empower participants to find strength, confidence, and beauty in the burn.”
In the case of inclement weather, classes may be moved to a new location or cancelled. Pre-registered participants will receive weather-related updates via email. Day-of updates will be shared on Instagram at @bryantparknyc.
