GMFS Dr. Niessen Tooth Talk!
Dr. Linda Niessen, Dean of KCU Dental in Joplin, came by this morning to do her normal Tooth Talk with Howie! As always, she wants people to be aware of their oral health and explains how important it is for your hole body, not just your mouth. Today she brings up diabetes and periodontal disease, how important is to keep up with your oral health, and how diabetes can lead to more oral health complications! She talks about how you can see the signs of having oral health issues and how what you can do to treat it. Seeing a dentist is so crucial so be sure to keep up with your dental health!
