Greenville Zaxby's set for Monday opening
Jun. 21—Chicken connoisseurs will have a new eatery to test their tastebuds at next week with the opening of saucy chicken chain Zaxby's. The location is at 6807 Interstate 30 Frontage Road between Wesley Street and Joe Ramsey Boulevard on the southside of the freeway.
The new Zaxby's is owned and operated by Zell Moore Chicken Inc. and will be open for dine-in and drive-thru beginning Monday.
"We are excited to bring the first Zaxby's to the Greenville area as the brand continues its expansion in Texas," said Chris Moore, owner and operator of Zell Moore Chicken Inc. "As we settle into the community, we look forward to establishing relationships with local schools and organizations to spread Zaxby's unique flavor."
The location has a seating capacity for 62 guests. To expedite drive-thru service, the restaurant will feature a walk-out drive thru pick-up area to quickly keep the line moving.
The restaurant is expected to provide up to 50 new employment opportunities, including up to six management positions. Interested applicants may visit zaxbys.com to apply for all available positions.
