Some things are just never the same after marriage...

When you get married, you expect a lot of big things to change, but it's the little changes that surprise you the most.

For Grey's Anatomy star Chris Carmack, it's his laundry technique that permanently changed in a hilarious way, as he revealed in a new TikTok

In the video, captioned, "Some things will never be the same," Carmack acts out "laundry before marriage," showing himself just lazily throwing all his laundry in the washer with a big smile on his face.

He then switches to "after," with him sorting out whites and colors with a straight face, looking right at the camera.

Back to "before," he throws everything in the dryer together and shoves the clean clothes into drawers, while after marriage, he puts the delicates on a drying rack and neatly folds and sorts clothing when putting it away.

Carmack set the whole video to the song "Unholy," by Sam Smith and Kim Petras.

The TikTok quickly racked up views and likes, and fans of Carmack and the show Grey's Anatomy found it especially funny.

One fan even joked that the marriage was referring to his character, Dr. Atticus Lincoln, and Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone), his former love interest who Lincoln has a child with, writing, "glad you and amelia finally got that happy ending."

Unfortunately, Lincoln and Shepherd don't exactly work out.

In real life, Carmack is married to actress Erin Slaver, and they share two daughters together.

Someone else asked, "Amelia finally said yes? 😂." Obviously, the answer is no, but Carmack responded that, at the very least, Shepherd "Would’ve been happy with my laundry technique tho."

Some fans also supported Carmack's original way of doing laundry, with one commenting, "I’ve always washed everything together, even whites… nothing happened yet 🤷🏻‍♀️💀," to which Carmack replied, "Ha that’s what I tell my wife!"
