Guy Fieri is giving back to those who are bravely combatting California's deadly blazes.

Camp Fire, north of Sacramento, and Woolsey Fire, near Los Angeles, are the most destructive fires in California history. They are also the deadliest. According to CBS News, 44 people are confirmed dead since the fires broke out last Thursday and 200 people still remain unaccounted for.

On Sunday evening, the Mayor of Flavortown surprised the hardworking firefighters and law enforcement officials of Butte County just north of Sacramento, by delivering meals to them.

The Butte County Sheriff's office tweeted out an image with Fieri, writing, "Guy Fieri made a surprise visit to serve dinner to everyone at the law enforcement staging area at Butte College. Thank you so much Guy for filling our bellies and lifting our spirits. #ButteSheriff #CampFire."

They also shared an image of the celebrity chef in a black sweatshirt, preparing to serve what looks like a big dish of broccoli.

Fieri took the time to pose for photos with officials from the Butte County Sheriff's office, Sacramento Police Department, and Auburn Police Department.

The Auburn Police department posted a photo of their officer Joe Almeida with Fieri, and wrote, "Guy is cooking pulled pork dinner for everyone this evening. He had also thanked everyone that is helping out for their hard work! Thank you Guy for your time, support and great food! #ButteCounty"

"Our own Tactical Dispatcher Badilla at the #Campfire command post, taking a break for a quick photo with Guy Fieri who showed up & fed the troops some outstanding food!" wrote the Sacramento Police.

Fieri also posted a photo of the fires to his personal Instagram page, writing "In today’s tumultuous world, it’s amazing to see our fire fighters, military, law enforcement and first responders come together to rescue our communities devastated by fire."

He added, "So many great people stepping up to take care of one another #ProudAmerican #CampFire."

This isn't the first time he's taken the initiative to assist victims of California wildfires. Fieri stepped up to help out his home county of Sonoma during the devastating wildfires that ravaged northern California last year.

The chef prepared 5,000 meals a day for evacuees and volunteers, and he worked with Salvation Army to set up a donations page to raise money for those in need.

"You stand up; you face it; and you go after it," he told Refinery29 at the time. "You don't back down from it."

As of right now, there is no known cause for the fires currently moving through the state. According to CBS, utility companies in the state reported problems at the time the fires started. They're cooperating with investigators who are trying to get to the bottom of the matter.

If you'd like to help those who have lost homes or are in need of temporary assistance, the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Relief Fund “supports intermediate and long-term recovery efforts for major California wildfires, as well as preparedness efforts.” Similarly, the Red Cross is "providing both shelter and emotional support for evacuees. You can visit RedCross.org, or text REDCROSS to 90999 to make an automatic $10 donation.”
