Help feed metro park animals on June 27
Jun. 21—LIMA — The Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District will host a feeding day at the McElroy Environmental Education Center, 2355 Ada Road, Lima, beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, June 27.
The park district maintains several education animals in the center, using them throughout the year for nature presentations and programs. The public may join the Critter Care volunteers to help (or watch) them clean and feed all the animals at 4 p.m. on the last Thursday of each month.
