Hillary Scott, the co-lead singer of Lady Antebellum, welcomed twins with her husband, drummer Chris Tyrrell, in January. The arrival of her twins came after fertility issues, and Scott ended up writing the song “Thy Will” after suffering from a miscarriage. Now, Scott is opening up in an interview with People magazine about what it was like to be pregnant with little Betsy Mack and Emory JoAnn.

Scott said that she and Tyrrell decided to wait as long as they could to announce the pregnancy because of the past miscarriage. “We were taking it a week at a time. ‘When are we going to announce this news?’ Because I wasn’t sure,” she said. “I’m like, ‘With [older daughter] Eisele, I carried a certain way. With twins, I mean, I might look five months pregnant by 12 weeks. Who knows?’”
