‘The Cheers of Holland’: The success of JP’s and what comes next

“Sharing good food and beverage goes hand in hand with watching our favorite sporting events, so partnering with the Detroit Lions is an amazing opportunity to share our passion with a greater audience,” Sam Mirto, President of Ferris Coffee & Nut Co., said in the release. “This partnership aligns two family-owned organizations that value hard work, determination, and progress while creating lasting memories for the people of Michigan, and we’re beyond excited to discover what we can accomplish together!”

The partnership is a multi-year agreement. Ferris Coffee’s director of marketing, Sarah Eyk, in the release said the company shares “the same passion and grit as they do on the field.”

Ferris Coffee, which got its start in 1924, is based in Grand Rapids. It’s seen some changes over the last year, closing its coffee shops in Holland and in the Bridge Street Market in Grand Rapids.
