Jamba Is Offering $1 Smoothies for National Smoothie Day, Joining Other Delicious Deals
June 21 is National Smoothie Day, and chains across the country blending up refreshing drinks are celebrating with some big deals for customers. From Jamba and Smoothie King to Planet Smoothie and Playa Bowls, there's something for everyone at an affordable price.
Jamba
Jamba is marking the occasion by selling 16-ounce smoothies for $1 in stores between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time. You can choose between two of the company's popular offerings: Mango-a-Go-Go and Strawberry Whirl. And you'll have to show up in person to claim it, as online and drive-thru orders aren't eligible for the savings.
Smoothie King
Fridays are already a good day for Smoothie King Healthy Rewards members, as it's Free Upsize Friday where you can get a free upgrade from a 20-ounce smoothie to a 32 ounce. Members who stop in on National Smoothie Day will also get triple points on any order and be automatically entered into a $5,000 sweepstakes.
It comes after Smoothie King started the party earlier this week, giving away free 12-ounce Blueberry Lemonade smoothies to all Healthy Rewards members on Wednesday and cutting all members' orders by 15 percent on Thursday to celebrate the start of summer.
Planet Smoothie
If you stop in to any Planet Smoothie location today, you can get a free 20-ounce Lunar Lemonade smoothie from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. local time.
Tropical Smoothie Cafe
Loyalty members at Tropical Smoothie Cafe will also get to reap the benefits this National Smoothie Day. All rewards members will get a free 24-ounce smoothie of their choice with any bowl or food purchase.
Playa Bowls
Playa Bowls rewards members will be able to take home a souvenir for National Smoothie Day. The chain is handing out free reusable color-changing cups with any smoothie order for the day.
