Jennifer Lopez Hilariously Responds to Comments About Ben Affleck's Grammys Misery

Jennifer Lopez had the best response to social media chatter about husband Ben Affleck's Grammys misery.

Days after the two made their Grammy Awards debut at the 2023 ceremony, Lopez shared a trailer for Affleck's upcoming film, Air, which he directed, on Instagram. In the cover image, she picked a photo of the actor looking miserable, and wrote over it in white text: "My husband's happy face."

A meme waiting to happen.

The hilarious caption seems to be Lopez's lighthearted reaction to fan speculation that Affleck had a less than fabulous time as her date to the Grammys. Photos from the glamorous evening show the "Let's Get Loud" singer looking dazzling in her navy and silver crystal-embellished Gucci gown, while her husband next to her looked bored, angry, and downright sad.

A fan joked on Twitter, "Ben Affleck is every guy at his wife's work party."

"Ben Affleck looks like he'd rather be at Dunkin," another joked, alluding to the Deep Water actor's love of Dunkin' Donuts. "However bad of a day you're having, I promise you're not as miserable as Ben Affleck at the Grammys right now," a third user tweeted.

After the awards show, Lopez shared a video featuring clips and photos from the night, including various of her and Affleck in which the actor almost looks happy.
