When scouting out some of the biggest hair trends of the summer season, celebrities, influencers and people alike are the ones to go to. And by 'go to', I mean, stalk their feeds for inspo, obvs. And if you were wondering, Hailey Bieber, Dua Lipa and, of course, Jennifer Lopez are all at the top of our 'Instagrams to-scout' list.
Of course, not ones to let the team down, the Hollywood girlies have sported a hairstyle that has seen us through the entirety of spring and now, festival season too. Oh, and if you were wondering, that is the baby braids 'do.
Megan Fox, Millie Bobby Brown and Simone Ashley along with Hailey and Dua have all rocked the style – and now, J-Lo has, too. Which basically means we've hit gold for confirmation of summer 2022's biggest hair trend. As the saying goes: if J-Lo is doing it, so should we. Or perhaps that's just my very own mantra...
In a cryptically captioned IG post (read: #WeekendShoots), Jen debuted the hottest hairstyle RN alongside Chris Appleton, the artist behind the hair look, and her makeup artist Mary Phillips.
Now, there are many, many ways to wear baby braids and all are equally as 'cool', as Chris likes to say. Like J-Lo, you can wear your hair up in a sleek bun with two framing the face or you can rock the same style but with your hair down.
