From Town & Country

It's no secret that Kate Middleton is a photo buff. The royal is not only a patron of Royal Photographic Society, she's also helped foster public photography initiatives like the Hold Still photography project—launched in May 2020 to capture a “portrait of the nation” during the pandemic, and ended up receiving more than 31,000 image submissions from around the UK—and is also well-known to be an avid amateur photographer. In fact, many of the most adorable photos we've seen of her children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, were actually snapped by the Duchess herself.

Over the course of the last year, royal fans have gotten an even better look at Kate's love of photos, thanks to the virtual events and Zoom calls the Duchess has hosted, which offer a peek into the royals' private residences, where Kate keeps tables of sweet family mementos on display. While we've gotten a look at some of the photos before, on a recent call with UK teachers seen in the photo above, fans got a glimpse of another angle which revealed one of the treasured memories that Kate keeps close at hand.

Kate took the call from her temporary office at Sandringham. Behind her, fans can see a selection of photos, included among them what appears to be a family portrait from Princess Charlotte's christening back in July of 2015 featuring Kate, Prince William, and Prince George as well as Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, and Camilla. (See a high-resolution version of the portrait here.)

The portrait joins a collection of adorable moments from the Cambridge family's lives, including what looks to be a picture of Kate and Prince Louis in the garden Kate designed at the Chelsea Flower Show last year, as well as one of a grinning Prince William.
