Katy Perry Is Psyched She 'Finally' Got To Try Taylor Swift's Famous Cookies

Katy Perry is reaping the benefits of her newly rekindled friendship with Taylor Swift...in the form of really great baked goods. While promoting her latest single "Small Talk" on SiriusXM's Hits 1 in Hollywood, Perry admitted, "I've heard about these cookies in interviews! I finally get to eat the cookies!"

If your priorities are entirely out of wack and you missed the whole reunion, here's the Cliff's Notes version: Swift sent over "peace at last" cookies, Perry Instagrammed the gesture, and then they hugged it out while dressed in coordinating burger and fry costumes.

And while, sure, I was a bit skeptical at how genuine this whole charade was, I don't know guys. It seems pretty legit. Katy held Taylor's cats..........that's trust.

"The cookies were incredible," Perry dished during the segment. "They were soft. I couldn't believe they weren't store-bought." C'mon Katy. Taylor Swift??? Giving store-bought cookies???? She would never. "She just makes them on a whim, and she's such a good baker," she continued.

According to Perry, the reconciliation, which she admits was "a process," unfolded after she sent that literal olive branch last year. And though things were amicable, they were initially cautious about sharing.

"She and I have been fine for a while and really on good terms but we didn't know if we were ever gonna really tell people about it," Swift told BBC Radio 1 in June. "We wanted to make sure that was solid between us before we ever made the public aware."

Um, Taylor, we wouldn't mind a batch of those cookies. Just sayin'.
