De Lesseps revealed her crush just a week after news broke that Costner's wife, Christine Baumgartner, had filed for divorce. TMZ reported the news, revealing that the 49-year-old filed divorce papers that cite "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

A rep for the 68-year-old actor confirmed the news in a statement made on Tues., May 2, telling the outlet, "It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action."

A day later, news broke that Costner did not want to go through with the divorce, though he is currently cooperating with the proceedings. "It was not anything that he wanted or sought, and if he could change the situation, he would," a source told People.

Costner and Baumgartner have been married since 2004 and share three kids–sons Cayden, 15, and Hayes, 14, and daughter Grace, 12. Costner is also the father of three kids with his first wife, Cindy Silva, whom he was married to between 1978 and 1994. They share daughters Annie, 39, Lily, 36, and son Joe, 35. The actor also has a son named Liam, 26, with Bridget Rooney.

For de Lesseps' part, she was previously married to businessman Tom D'Agostina for a year before the duo split in 2017.
