What to know about Milwaukee's 2024 Greek Fest at State Fair Park

It's officially the first day of summer and festival season is in full swing.

Milwaukee's annual Greek Fest returns Friday through Sunday at State Fair Park, 640 S. 84th St. in West Allis.

Organized by the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Greek Fest fills the fairgrounds with traditional Greek food like gyros and other spit-roasted meats, Greek desserts, Greek music, dancers and other live performances all three days.

What is Greek Fest Milwaukee?

One of the many ethnic-centered festivals in Milwaukee, Greek Fest aims to celebrate and promote Greek culture. The 2024 festival is the 59th annual Greek Fest in Milwaukee.

How much does it cost to attend Greek Fest?

Admission to the festival is free. The festival's youth admission policy requires guests under 17 years to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian (21 years and over). Each parent may only chaperone up to six minors per day.

Parking is $10 per vehicle and $5 for motorcycles.

Where is Greek Fest Milwaukee?

Greek Fest Milwaukee is hosted at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis. The address is 640 S. 84th St.

Vehicles can enter at Gate 7 (located on Kearney Street between South 84th & South 76th streets) or Gate 8 (located on 76th Street & West Pierce Street) to park. Pedestrians can walk through Gate 5 or the UScellular Main Entrance.

What's the schedule for Greek Fest Milwaukee?

The festival runs from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. The Whole Chicken Drive-Thru will be open 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, noon to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

This year, only kiddie rides will be available at Greek Fest. Rides close at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with ticket sales closing at 6 p.m. Rides close at 5 p.m. Sunday, with ticket sales ending at 4 p.m. Some rides may be affected by weather.

  • Max & The Invaders: 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday

  • The First Wave: 5:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Saturday

  • Boo The Band: 2:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. Sunday
