Kris Jenner Mourns Tristan Thompson's Mother Following Sudden Death: 'I Am So Heartbroken'

Andrea Thompson passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Jan. 5.

Kris Jenner is sending her condolences to Tristan Thompson's family after the sudden passing of his mom, Andrea Thompson.

Following the news that the mother of the 31-year-old NBA star unexpectedly died after suffering a heart attack on Thursday, Jan. 5, Kris took to Instagram to honor Andrea's legacy and share some photos from their time together as fellow grandmothers to Khloé Kardashian's two children with Tristan.

"I am so heartbroken by the sudden passing of Tristan's mom, Andrea," the momager, 67, started off her post, while showing sympathy for Tristan and his other siblings. "My thoughts, prayers and all of my love are with Tristan, Amari, Dishawn and Daniel. You were the most amazing, dedicated, devoted, and selfless mom and such a loving, kind, and fabulous grandmother. What a blessing you were to your family!!!"

"I will miss you Andrea. I will miss your bright spirit and amazing light," she continued. "Thank you for always praying for us and lifting us up and encouraging us along the way. Rest in peace beautiful angel 🙏❤️"

Kris' post also featured several photos of Andrea, including one snap of the two grandmothers posing with Tristan and Khloé and another of just Kris and Andrea.

Another pic showed Andrea and Khloé smiling for a pic with baby True, while the last slide featured Tristan with his arm around his mom.

As Parade reported, Andrea was at her home in Toronto when she suffered a heart attack on Thursday. She was rushed to the hospital, where resuscitation efforts were unsuccessful. Khloé accompanied Tristan to Toronto following the devastating news, as she "was very close to Tristan's mother," according to a source.

Kris, Khloé and Kim Kardashian are all expected to attend Andrea's funeral.
