Krispy Kreme’s newest donut offerings are splashed in red, white and blue!

The donut chain is celebrating the Fourth of July with two new patriotic donut flavors, plus the return of a popular classic.

For fans of cream-filled donuts, the new Firework Cookies and Kreme donut is unglazed and stuffed with the brand’s signature Cookies and Kreme. The red, white and blue treat is dipped in red icing and drizzled in a blue swirl with a rocket candy on top.

The dessert chain’s second summer innovation is the Cotton Candy Sparkler donut. For this confection, a donut is glazed and dipped in blue icing and cotton candy sugar, with red and white buttercream rounding out the festive decor.

Of course, Krispy Kreme is bringing back a classic to ring in Independence Day. The Freedom Flag donut also made the Fourth of July menu. It’s a glazed donut dipped in white icing and piped with red stripes and blue and gold sprinkles.

The three donuts are available starting June 21 and they'll come in a fun, red white and blue box.

Naturally, it wouldn’t be a holiday at Krispy Kreme without a deal. On July 4, any customer who wears red, white and blue can snag a free glazed donut.

The chain has had plenty of fun releases to kick off the summer. Most recently, Krispy Kreme introduced a new assortment of donut dots, which are similar to donut holes or munchkin donuts. Four new flavors joined the original glazed dots on the permanent Krispy Kreme menu: powdered, cinnamon, sprinkled and cookie crumb flavors. All use an original glazed dot as a base.

The new assorted donut holes are available in 10-count or 24-count cups.
